Raphael Knapp and Steve Andrews at Terroir Wine Bar

This weekend we had the pleasure of interviewing Raphael Knapp of Return to Terroir imports, on Slow Living Radio. 

One thrill was discovering a rustic, incredible wine bar and store in San Francisco's SoMa, called Terroir Wine Bar, and also interviewing a  young adventurous Sancerre Winemaker, Sebastien Riffault.  More on his wines soon.






But, at the end, he poured to us one of the most interesting white wines I have had lately - the Brin, Pierres Blanches, 2010.  Full of crisp vitality and a terrific backbone, yet balanced with such graceful finesse, showing floral, and hazelnut elements and a gorgeous balance of honey.
